Sleepy After Eating, Falling Asleep and Tired After Meals: Low Body O2

most modern people, sleep generates the most negative impact on personal
breathing and body-oxygen levels. The next most detrimental factor is eating, in
particular, overeating leading to sleepiness after meals and naps after eating. Any person can easily prove the powerful negative effects
of overeating using the body oxygen test.
It is common that body-oxygen test results are reduced by 20-40%
or by about 5-10 seconds due to heavy breathing or hyperventilation. In
addition, many people get sleepy after eating and even drowse into a nap after a meal, especially a large meal such as lunch or supper.
Sleepy and tired after eating, with food in the stomach
When food is still present in the stomach and the person
overeats, overeating produces a biochemical shock
on the whole organism due to factors related to heavy breathing.
Falling asleep and tired after eating (usually in 20-60 minutes after
eating) are frequent signs of this biochemical shock.
This effect of having sleepiness after eating with naps due to large meals is much
stronger after eating junk food and especially overeating (see the second half
of this page for more info about this effect). We start to generate free
radicals, which cause oxidative stress or damage to the cells when the body oxygen
levels drop below 20 seconds (see the link to the test below).
The solution to this problem is to chew food very well (to prevent
overeating) or to eat half of the meal and wait for 20 minutes, waiting for
signs of hunger. For nearly all people, their hunger disappears and they feel

If sleepiness takes place some 1.5-2.5 hours after meals (not
immediately), it can indicate Candida yeast overgrowth in the small
intestine (especially if a person has digestive symptoms, such as greasy
stool, offensive gas, and so forth, see
digestive health for details), or lack of sleep or deep stages of sleep
(including sleep apnea).
The best remedy for such cases is to avoid simple sugars and fruits (if
you have an excess of Candida yeast in the gut) and to do a simple breathing
exercise that is explained in this video. The title says that this exercise
is for people with anxiety. However, it works fine to get energized and
alert in 1-2 minutes!
How overbreathing causes obesity
effect (feeling sleepy after eating) is even more common in overweight
people. Both signs (obesity and getting sleepy after eating)
indicate ineffective breathing
(breathing too often and too much air per one breath) at the same time. The
solution to this common problem for obese people is to practice reduced breathing
to increase body oxygenation. Any time an overweight person eats complex carbohydrates
or fats, his body-oxygen levels and breathing immediately become much
worse. Furthermore, hunger for starches and fats indicate a state of stress
and lower body-oxygen content with a higher heart rate. This causes people to feel
sleepiness after eating meals and take naps for more than 10 minutes (that is generally unhealthy unless one sleep-deprived).
Why and how can hyperventilation cause obesity? According to Professor KP Buteyko, MD, Ph.D.,
and research conducted by Russian medical doctors, CO2 is also responsible for the
control of membrane permeability of fat cells. When we hyperventilate,
due to low CO2, glucose is driven from the blood into fat cells, and
the blood-glucose level naturally becomes low due to hyperventilation
alone. Since glucose is crucial for the brain and well-being, it
is sensible to eat in a manner that increases blood sugar levels up to
the norm. Eating more intensifies respiration and this leads to the
formation of a vicious circle:
- hyperventilation drives glucose into fat cells
- the person gets hungry
- he eats more and ...
- hyperventilates more.
Hence, over 70% of people "naturally" gain weight when they hyperventilate. And low brain
and body-oxygen levels are the expected effects of overbreathing.
when people start to slow down their breath while practicing
reduced breathing (especially with the DIY
breathing device or the Frolov device), they naturally have
less hunger. If they start eating only when really hungry, they can easily lose weight.
People with low body O2 naturally dislike exercise, while high body O2 commonly means craving for and joy of exercise. But there is one crucial health tip that less than 1% of exercising people use. This tip is provided below in the bonus section.
These are the most natural methods or techniques to
lose weight and increase body-oxygen levels. Moreover, breathing less
makes obese people more alert and more energetic. All these factors make
breathing retraining more meaningful than other weight loss techniques.
Permanent solution for feeling sleepy and tired after meals problem
If you feel tired or sleepy after meals with taking naps later, this means that your
current body oxygenation is less than 20 seconds. You need to increase
your brain and body-oxygen content up to a certain level (measured in seconds)
so as to have much more energy and a clear mind 24/7 naturally. Find out this criteria and requirement as your bonus content right below here.
