New Decision Therapy Testing in Clinical Trials 1By Dr. Artour Rakhimov, Alternative Health Educator and Author

In the video above, Dr. Artour Rakhimov discusses with Lynn Himmelman about NDT testing in clinical trials.

New Decision Therapy has great potential for success in mental health clinical trials. It has been used extensively and Lynn would like to see NDT grow to be used with marginalized people in society. This can include different types of clinical trials. In this video, Dr. Artour Rakhimov and Lynn discuss who can be used for testing NDT in clinical trials. The video elaborates on clinical trials or similar testing in an objective evaluation of New Decision Therapy. If such trials are done in relation to the application of NDT, which groups of subjects can be used? For example, what type of groups of people with specific problems can use NDT to heal? Anybody can benefit from NDT if they are open to the process. They would be perfect candidates. The help of NDT is highly successful for people that went through trauma, difficult relationships and other types of similar experiences.

Lynn would like a type of clinical trial to expand the work of NDT to work with people from marginalized communities and that are going through difficult life circumstances. For example, people that are living in a homeless shelter. Also, women that were abused and have had to take their children with them to find a new home. The women are in this place where they need to heal from the trauma and they need to get on with things. A comparison study can be made with these women using NDT and to someone who does not get this kind of help. It would be very interesting to see the results of these types of mental health clinical trials.

New Decision Therapy is used in a specific process to help clear 3 layers of psychological trauma. One session of this forgiveness technique lasts from 60 to 80 minutes. The technique helps to get rid of emotional traumas that the person did not know they still had within them, but still, they have some constraining effect on her or his present life. Additional tools that are used by this healing therapy include radical forgiveness and the use of a mirror for testing eyes and for the forgiveness method.

This forgiveness method permits a person with trauma to feel more positive emotions and to have over 20 seconds for the body-oxygen test. In turn, having more than 20 seconds for the body-oxygen test allows one to be more resilient to any upcoming stress and to reduce the negative effects of trauma. NDT helps people to live fully in the present and to see a future with new and greater opportunities.
