Positive and Risk Cancer Lifestyle Factors
The way we breathe and our automatic or unconscious breathing patterns are tightly connected with the surrounding environment and all factors that influence or interact with the human organism. Virtually any significant effect on the human body causes changes in breathing and, hence, influences cancer cell cycle and development of tumors. (In most cases, modern people do not pay attention and do not notice these changes in their breathing.) The effects of these factors on breathing can be different and even opposite. Some factors can make breathing lighter, others heavier reducing body oxygenation. The particular effects of these factors can be checked using the CP test (stress-free breath holding time test done after your usual exhalation). The test measures tissue oxygenation in seconds.
These web pages consider common factors which influence breathing and tumor
oxygen levels:
- Effects of
exercise on the respiratory system
- Sleep factors (mouth breathing during sleep, sleeping on one’s back, sleeping too long)
- Breathing through the mouth (it greatly reduces CO2 stores due to much faster rate of CO2 removal)
- Psychological stress (strong emotions, anger, depression, etc.)
- Overheating
- Overeating
- Toxins and pollution
- Slouching
- Lack of nutrients and consumption of refined and junk foods (sugar, white bread, white rice, etc.)
- Talkativeness
- Factor for infants
- Other factors
Positive lifestyle factors lead to higher CO2 values or make breathing lighter. This slows down or even regresses tumor growth. Among them are:
Healthy lifestyle factors
- Physical exercise
done with strictly nasal
breathing (it increases CO2 and nitric oxide
blood concentrations)
- Diaphragmatic basal breathing 24/7
- Straight spine or correct posture 24/7
- Relaxation and meditation exercises
- Forgiveness, silent prayer (not singing), acceptance, composure, calmness,
perseverance, self-discipline, peace-making, good will, cooperation, responsibility
and commitment
- Time spent outdoors (especially for the aged)
- Eating only when one is really hungry
- Sleeping on solid or hard beds
- Raw vegan diet (provided that it is very well chewed)
- Moderation in pleasures
- Taking cold shower (it is important to follow certain rules)
- Breathing exercises that slows down breathing (Buteyko reduced
breathing exercise, Frolov respiration
device, Strelnikova paradoxical breathing gymnastic, correctly done hatha yoga
Pranayama, etc.)
The detailed analysis of these factors and methods can be found in the "Learn here" Section of this website. They are parts of the Buteyko breathing re-training method targeted to restore body oxygenation using natural means.
Conclusion: Presence of various abnormal lifestyle factors makes breathing bigger and deeper and creates chronic hypoxia of vital organs, while positive lifestyle factors reduce or slow down breathing, improve oxygenation of tumors and improve health state of cancer patients.
